How to Use Oxylabs Mobile Proxies

Step 1. Initial Setup:

• After purchasing Oxylabs Mobile Proxies, click on “let's start” on the post-purchase pop-up window.
• If you close the pop-up, either refresh the page or navigate to the overview section.
• Create your main proxy username and password by clicking “create proxy user”. Remember, you can have multiple users, but don't delete the main one.

Step 2. Endpoint Generator:

• This feature aids in efficient proxy integration and customizing requests.
• For a US proxy with back connect entry:
  • Select “Global” for region.
  • Choose an authentication method: “user authentication” requires sub-user credentials, while “white listed IPs” uses your whitelisted IP addresses.
  • For a back connect entry, select “back connect” and then find the US in location settings. You can further refine by city and state or leave it random.
  • To get a new IP for each request, choose “rotating”.
  • Specify your preferred output format, decide the number of endpoints, and export the list.

Step 3. Testing Mobile Proxies:

• Send a request using curl.
  • Use your sub-user's credentials.
  • Type curl -X followed by the proxy server IP and port number (7777). Add customer- before your username.
  • Specify the target website, e.g., ip.oxylabs.io.
  • Every repeated request will show a new IP due to proxy rotation.
  • For queries generated by the endpoint generator, copy-paste the query within inverted commas, ensuring you adjust the server IP and port number.

Step 4. Oxy Proxy Manager Extension:

• Available on the Chrome web store, this free extension lets you manage proxies on your browser.
• After installation, click the Oxylabs icon and select “add a new proxy”.
• Name your proxy, select the connection type, and choose a protocol (e.g., HTTP).
